This is a condition in which there is increased frequency and looseness of bowel movement. It can be caused by food poisoning, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and dysentery. A severe case will result in the loss of water and salts, which must be replaced. Proper medical attention is required if food poisoning is the cause.
