moving.
It is
commonly
a
spinning
sensation
as if
the
ground
is
tilting.
The
semi-circular
canals
of the
ear are
fundamental
to the
maintenance
of
balance
and
vertigo
is
generally
the
result
of a
problem
with
this
mechanism
or with
the
appropriate
centres
in the
brain.
